Customer Service and Dispatch Co-ordinator

Job responsibilities summary:

  • Provide exceptional customer service
  • Resolve product or service problems
  • Enter new customer sales orders onto ERP system
  • Produce pro forma invoices for customers and take payments via online Virtual Terminal and post to customer account.
  • Contact customers to arrange delivery times to suit their installation timetable.
  • Liaise with third party suppliers to ensure correct ancillaries are delivered to customers in line with their specified delivery requirements.
  • Work with the production team to feedback specific customer queries
  • Work with sales administration team to ensure correct paperwork is placed to enable product dispatch in line with customer requirements
  • Process daily customer product deliveries on the ERP system
  • Process repair orders and ensure goods out have associated paperwork
  • Process movement of finished goods to third party storage facilities
  • Process customer returns in line with company processes and to ensure quick customer resolution.
  • Maintain records relating to stock held at third party locations

The role is based in Kensa’s Truro head office.

SAP Specialist

Job responsibilities summary:

  • Develop and maintain an extremely high level of understanding of the entire SAP methodology.
  • Survey and work with Domestic Energy Assessors and On-Construction SAP assessors to understand how they are currently accounting for Kensa products within their assessments.
  • Experiment within popular SAP assessment software
  • Trace unexpected results to their source including reading the documented SAP procedures, SAP conventions, PCDB entries and recreating results outside of SAP software
  • Understand the ERP test regime that forms the basis of the PCDB certification
  • Build relationships with external parties
  • Managing and motivating the estimating team
  • To undertake training and assist in training other members of staff as required.

Health and Safety Manager

Job responsibilities summary:

  • To review, implement and where necessary update the company’s Health and Safety policy
  • To ensure the company meets all legislative Health and Safety requirements
  • To ensure all accidents or near misses are fully reported and investigated
  • To support the operational teams to achieve optimum performance and compliance with health and safety, legal and quality systems requirements
  • To provide Directors, Managers and business colleagues with guidance and direction on Health and Safety systems, developments and improvement initiatives
  • To act as the Temporary Works coordinator for the company and support delivery teams in this regard
  • Where necessary communicate Health and Safety matters to the Health and Safety Executive (HSE)
  • To coordinate Health and Safety training for project managers, site managers and other colleagues.

Quantity Surveyor

Job responsibilities summary:

  • To assist with establishing client requirements
  • To aid in the selection of new suppliers and maintain the KCL sub contractor database
  • To be responsible for quantifying, budgeting, and managing projects from outset to completion.
  • To analyse project progress and produce detailed reports using in-house software.
  • To aid project managers in selecting subcontractors and agree the scope of service and allocate work.
  • To monitor and control costs throughout the project.
  • To identify any risks surrounding the project and the likelihood of cost variation.
  • To prepare valuations and final accounts.
  • To liaise effectively between site managers, project managers, contracts managers and the client.
  • Assist the commercial and delivery department in ensuring all contractual requirements are fully understood and that each project is under contract prior to commencement.
  • Manage the contracts administrator in his duties of reviewing and collating contractual documents.

Job responsibilities summary:

  • Develop and maintain systems and processes for estimating a range of projects
  • Responding to tenders
  • Managing and motivating the estimating team
  • Analysing departmental workload and resource and making recommendations about capacity
    and any recruitment needs.
  • Assist with maintaining and developing template documents including feasibility, estimates,
    quotations and design proposals.
  • To engage in initial conversations with clients and internal design meetings
  • To interrogate drawings showing construction details including floor plans, layouts of heating
    and hot water infrastructure, site access, proposed heat pump locations and proposed
    borehole locations.

Estimator

Job responsibilities summary:

  • To gather construction information about existing or planned properties using a variety of resources
  • To engage in initial conversations with clients and internal design meetings, ensuring follow-up actions are taken and full information is recorded
  • To interrogate drawings showing construction details
  • Gather as much information about the property as possible and make the best estimate of heat loss
  • Development of project specific ‘scope of work’ using templated provided
  • Enter data gathered into estimating spreadsheet to develop project specific pricing and initial business case for the project.
  • To provide summary heat loads, and borehole depth to the sales team and sub-contractors for pricing purposes
  • To assist sales staff with the preparation of quotations for clients and update quotations once the detailed design and sub-contractor quotes are complete
  • To review and maintain the estimating database and make recommendations for improvements to increase competitiveness
  • To help to ensure that the format of quotes is in line with MCS requirements

Job responsibilities summary:

  • Gather and analyse construction data via plans and/or site survey
  • Conduct heat loss calculations in accordance with BS EN 12831
  • Draft and Lodge RdSAP and SAP certificates
  • Renewable Heat Incentive and Energy Company Obligation projections
  • Assist the sales department in preparation of final quotations
  • ECO and RHI funding applications / ECO manual calculating
  • Research and reporting of legislative development
  • Manage Subcontractors in production of EPC, SAP and MCS heat loss calculations
  • Project Survey Reports, Risk-assessments and Method Statements
