HR Assistant

Job responsibilities summary:

  • Act as first point of contact for all HR administration queries
  • Advertise both internally and externally new vacancies
  • Communication with candidates via email and telephone
  • Filing CVs and sending to relevant hiring managers
  • Arranging interviews using multiple diaries and liaising with candidates and Agencies
  • Adding new starters to numerous personnel records

SAP Specialist

Job responsibilities summary:

  • Develop and maintain an extremely high level of understanding of the entire SAP methodology.
  • Survey and work with Domestic Energy Assessors and On-Construction SAP assessors to understand how they are currently accounting for Kensa products within their assessments.
  • Experiment within popular SAP assessment software
  • Trace unexpected results to their source including reading the documented SAP procedures, SAP conventions, PCDB entries and recreating results outside of SAP software
  • Understand the ERP test regime that forms the basis of the PCDB certification
  • Build relationships with external parties
  • Managing and motivating the estimating team
  • To undertake training and assist in training other members of staff as required.

Contracting Sales Manager – South East

Job responsibilities summary:

  • To identify potential clients, make contact and arrange meetings.
  • To gather construction information about existing or planned properties using a variety of resources
  • To engage in initial conversations with clients, architects and internal design meetings
  • To interrogate and take off from drawings showing construction details
  • To gather as much information about the property This may include undertaking heat loss calculations.
  • To provide summary heat loads and borehole depth to sub-contractors for pricing purposes.
  • To prepare and submit quotations for clients.
  • To update quotations once detailed design and sub-contractor quotes are in to confirm project viability
  • Negotiation of contract and payment terms with clients.
  • To convert quotations to order and manage hand over process to delivery.
  • To review and maintain the estimating database
  • To help to ensure that the format of quotes is in line with MCS requirements.
  • Represent the company at sales orientated events, trade shows, conferences and the like.

Business Development Manager – South East

Job responsibilities summary:

  • To identify potential clients and their key decision makers, make contact and arrange meetings.
  • To identify key influencers, make contact and arrange CPD presentations to present Kensa’s innovative GSHP solutions. Then work with these people to identify suitable opportunities for Kensa.
  • Ensuring follow-up actions are taken and full information is recorded.
  • Responding to questions and requests for further information as they arise.
  • Represent Kensa at trade shows, exhibitions, conferences, industry events and Government sponsored events to generate further business development opportunities.
  • Represent Kensa at local and central government meetings and events.
  • Take responsibility for the company’s CPD presentation (in conjunction with the marketing team) to ensure it remains up-to-date with all latest relevant policy announcements and product development.
  • Generate leads for projects and work with the contracting sales managers and other colleagues (e.g. estimating, design) as necessary to develop project proposals.
  • Increase Kensa’s client base within the South East of England.
  • Identify new methods and opportunities for sales campaigns within the South East of England and contribute to national campaigns as necessary.
  • Monthly reporting to Director of Sales (South East) to contribute to sales reports to the company board meeting.

Project Manager – North

Job responsibilities summary:

  • To detail project requirements to all sub-contractors to allow them to provide detailed quotations.
  • Select appropriate sub-contractors based on balancing a range of factors including price, quality, experience and suitability.
  • Approve new sub-contractors including making them fully aware of Kensa’s terms and conditions, checking their qualifications, trade body membership and insurances.
  • Produce a detailed project schedule, construction phase plan and risk assessments and provide these to the client.
  • To coordinate the timing of product deliveries and the work of the various sub-contractors and communicate this to the householders.
  • To train sub-contractors on the requirements of Kensa’s heat pumps and the specifics of each project.
  • To supervise sub-contractors and deal with any issues that may arise.
  • To record actual site progress and produce project valuations (usually monthly or bi-monthly) as evidence for invoicing purposes.
  • To record commissioning information and verify compliance with building regulations and MCS.
  • To support the sales team and client with pre-order technical information and guidance.

The role will be based on site or remote working.

Accreditation Manager

Job responsibilities summary:

  • Develop and maintain an extremely high level of understanding of Kensa Contracting’s management system and the requirements of the various certification and accreditation schemes of which Kensa Contracting is a member.
  • Maintain Kensa Contracting’s management system through regular reviews and updates and by implementing any new requirements of our accreditation bodies or senior management.
  • Provide assistance to Kensa Contracting’s sales team to help demonstrate compliance when they are undertaking PQQs or full submissions for tender opportunities
  • Provide assistance and support to Kensa Contracting colleagues on how to access and use the management system.
  • Spot check internally produced documents
  • Understand the ERP test regime that forms the basis of the PCDB certification and how that ERP data is translated into the PCDB.

Job responsibilities summary:

  • To review, implement and where necessary update the company’s Health and Safety policy

Job responsibilities summary:

  • To assist with establishing client requirements
  • To aid in the selection of new suppliers and maintain the KCL sub contractor database
  • To be responsible for quantifying, budgeting, and managing projects from outset to completion.
  • To analyse project progress and produce detailed reports using in-house software.
  • To aid project managers in selecting subcontractors and agree the scope of service and allocate work.
  • To monitor and control costs throughout the project.
  • To identify any risks surrounding the project and the likelihood of cost variation.
  • To prepare valuations and final accounts.
  • To liaise effectively between site managers, project managers, contracts managers and the client.
  • Assist the commercial and delivery department in ensuring all contractual requirements are fully understood and that each project is under contract prior to commencement.

  • Assist the sales department in preparation of final quotations
