Quality Engineer

Job responsibilities summary:

  • To implement maintain and update production quality management systems to ensure products are manufactured to the highest quality standards.
  • To support the maintenance and continual improvement of the business processes
  • To ensure production procedures are suitably documented and ensure staff are sufficiently trained.
  • To implement and operate quality monitoring procedures, process controls, KPIs and reports.
  • To provide reports on quality performance to production management and senior management
  • To collaborate with operations managers to develop and implement controls and improvements.
  • To investigate customer and shop-floor quality non-conformances.
  • To work with the purchasing team to manage supplier quality issues, returns and rejects.
  • To ensure that appropriate corrective actions, resulting from recorded non-conformances, are implemented and effective.
  • To working closely the Purchasing Team to assess Supplier quality during supplier selection.

Job responsibilities summary:

  • To foster a culture that places high importance on the health and safety of employees.
  • To ensure Kensa’s products and services meet the needs and expectations of installers and end users.
  • To lead the development of the Kensa R&D plan.

Commercial Sales Manager

  • To lead the sales and business development effort for the commercial sector.
  • Prepare detailed responses to tender requests including pricing and quality sections.
  • Meeting with and delivering CPDs to councils, energy consultants, M&E engineers, and developers
    across the UK to present the benefits of ground source heat pumps.
  • Meet with councils to advise how ground source heat pumps can help with their and
    decarbonisation agenda.
  • Work with councils on appropriate project selection, funding options, and how to get projects
    approved internally.
  • Introduce Kensa sales colleagues to potential clients and assist them with feasibility reports and
    detailed project proposals.
  • Identify key influencers in Government, the GLA and Councils and foster good relationships with
    a view to influencing policy and funding.
  • Monitor opportunities for grant funding.
  • Develop business models and funding packages.
  • As enquiry levels grow, the post holder will be responsible for developing a sales and business
    development team.

Contracting Sales Manager – South East

Job responsibilities summary:

  • To identify potential clients, make contact and arrange meetings.
  • To gather construction information about existing or planned properties using a variety of resources
  • To engage in initial conversations with clients, architects and internal design meetings
  • To interrogate and take off from drawings showing construction details
  • To gather as much information about the property This may include undertaking heat loss calculations.
  • To provide summary heat loads and borehole depth to sub-contractors for pricing purposes.
  • To prepare and submit quotations for clients.

  • Negotiation of contract and payment terms with clients.
